TFR began checking investigators in the North Caucasus because of the Arashukov case

The Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) began a service check against its own employees working in the administration of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (KCR). This is stated in the message department.

In particular, the committee checks the first deputy head of Kazbek Bulatov and deputy head Arsen Ezaov, specified in the message. This is due to the investigation of the criminal case against Senator Rauf Arashukov, as well as his father Raul Arashukov, who is an adviser to the general director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, it is said there. On the eve of Bulatov filed a resignation report, said the TFR.

At the end of January, the senator from KChR Arashukov was detained in the meeting room of the Council of the Federation, for this purpose the chairman of the RDC Alexander Bastrykin and the Prosecutor General Yury Chaika specially arrived. The investigation believes that the senator may be involved in three cases: participation in the criminal community, two episodes of the organization of the murder by prior agreement from mercenary motives and pressure on the witness.

A few hours after the arrest, the senator became aware of the arrest of his father. He was accused of creating an organized criminal group and especially large-scale fraud. According to investigators, Arashukov Sr., as part of the organized criminal group, organized theft of gas from Gazprom for more than 30 billion rubles. Both Arashukovs are now under arrest.
